GTS Novera network

A reliable and efficient infrastructure is the essential prerequisite for providing high quality telecommunication services. GTS Novera operates its own extensive telecommunication infrastructure with high capacity connectivity. The backbone of the main network is provided by optical cable links covering all regions in the Czech Republic. The whole network is built on the basis of circular topology which guarantees optimal functionality and 100% backup capacity.

GTS Novera also operates its own high capacity dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) international transmission network providing connection to all the main telecommunication centres in Europe (Bratislava, Budapest, Frankfurt, Prague, Warsaw, Vienna) from which the connections are made to the networks of major operators worldwide.

GTS Novera nationwide telecommunication network

GTS Novera nationwide telecommunication network is based on the high capacity dense wavelength division multiplexing (DWDM) transmission network of circular topology with connection to the regional and metropolitan SDH networks covering all the major regional centres in the Czech Republic. In each of the locations this transmission network is connected to the access network providing access links to the individual customers.

GTS Novera IP network

The main network for Internet operations includes the nationwide circular IP network with capacity of 10 Gbit/s and with redundant connectivity to neutral connection node NIX.CZ with transmission capacity of 2 x 10 Gbit/s. GTS Novera IP network has direct international connectivity with capacity of 2 x 10 Gbit/s to the other important European peer centres in Frankfurt, London and Vienna. GTS Novera Internet network is one of the networks with Cisco Powered Network (CPN) certification in Central and Eastern Europe.
