Prague ▪ March 3, 2008 –The international telecommunication group GTS CE, that GTS Novera is a member of, has released its 2008 financial results. The revenue of GTS CE amounted to € 436 million. The EBITDA indicator totaled € 77 million. The 2008 GTS CE financial performance represents the best results in the 15 year history of the Group, strengthening its position as the leading alternative telecommunication operator in Central & Eastern Europe.

·        The 2008 revenue grew by 10 % to € 436m (2007:  € 396m)

·        EBITDA grew by 8 % to € 77m (2007:  €71m)

·        Total 2008 CAPEX investments were € 49m

The volume of GTS CE revenues generated in 2008 grew by 10 % to € 436 million compared to € 396 million in 2007. Data revenue grew by 19 % driven primarily by providing international services. EBITDA increased by 8 % to € 77 million in year-to-year comparison with € 71 million in 2007. Total 2008 CAPEX investments amounted € 49 million.

Commenting on the results, the Group CEO Adam Sawicki noted: “Despite the deteriorating macro economic environment, 2008 was an exceptional year and establishes a solid platform for the further development of the Group. Recent strengthening of our management team coupled with various efficiency programs will allow us to better focus and execute our core competency which is being the preferred provider of data and voice solutions to corporate and carrier customers in Central Europe.”

The Group CFO Gerald Grace added: ”The Group continues to be focused on cash flow performance with operating cash flow after investments of € 28 million in 2008 representing 45 % growth on the prior year.”
