GTS Novera’s new Corporate Projects Director is Robert Lhota

Prague 22. September 2009 – Starting in September the new Corporate Projects Director of the nationwide telecommunications operator GTS Novera is Robert Lhota. He has replaced Jan Čornej who has been appointed the company’s technical director. In his new position he will be responsible for managing the project office where corporate strategic projects are conducted, both within GTS Novera and those that affect the parent international group GTS CE.

Since 2007 Robert Lhota has been working for GTS Novera as a project manager. Before that he worked for two years for Vegacom as a technical department manager. From 2001 until 2005 he worked for CORE Computer where he finished in the position of project manager and consultant.Robert Lhota studied in the Computer Department of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering at the Czech Technical University in Prague. He then completed the managerial training programme at the CMC Graduate School of Business.Robert Lhota (35) is unmarried and in addition to his native Czech he also speaks English and German. Among his hobbies are travelling and sport, in particular cycling, squash and swimming, and in the winter snowboarding.
