Prague; November 30, 2006 – Effective as of December 1, 2006 GTS Novera, a nationwide telecommunication operator, raises data limits of its Novera DSL service, an advantageous broadband Internet connectivity. The data limit will be increased to all customers automatically and free of charge. E.g. the data limit for the variant of this service with the transmission rate amounting to 4,096/512 kbit/s will be increased by 10 GB.

The increase in data limits for individual transmission rates:

All other parameters of the Novera DSL service (including the price) will remain unchanged. The increase will be applied to price programs with the data limit only; it will also be applied to the Internet connectivity within the Novera Duo package that combines voice and Internet services. However, if the customer has already got the data limit for a particular service variant that is higher than a new one then such customer can retain its original limit.

Novera DSL is an advantageous and unlimited broadband Internet connectivity addressed to SME’s primarily. Thanks to the ADSL technology the customers may use the Internet connectivity with the transmission rate amounting to hundreds of kbit/s that is several times higher than the dial-up connection. The basic variant of this service with the transmission rate amounting to 512/128 kbit/s is available for a monthly fee of CZK 395. The most used variant with an unlimited data limit and transmission rate of 2,048/256 kbit/s costs CZK 1,095 a month. Novera DSL may be combined with cheap calls through the Novera phone connection service or Novera phone preselection.
