Prague; March 27, 2007 – GTS Novera, a nationwide telecommunication operator, is going to increase significantly transmission rates of its Novera DSL service up to 8 Mbit/s. The lowest transmission rate offered for the data downloading will be 2 Mbit/s for a monthly fee amounting to CZK 395.00. If the customers use the action offer effective as of April 1, 2007 they will pay the same fee for the connection with the transmission rate 4 Mbit/s. The increase in transmission rate for the current customers will be undertaken free of charge.

Effective as of April 1, 2007 GTS Novera is going to increase the broadband Internet transmission rates. The customer is to pay a monthly fee amounting to CZK 395.00 for the lowest rate 2 Mbit/s without any commitment with respect to the contract duration.

Within the action offer all new customers may save up to CZK 4,700 a year.

Within the action offer effective as of April 1, 2007 any new customer may acquire the Novera DSL Fun service with the transmission rate amounting to 4 Mbit/s and 12 GB data volume limit for an advantageous price of CZK 395.00 to be paid for the first three months of the service use. This price applies to the contract with a minimum usage term of 12 months. If the customer enters into the contract for 18 months he/she will pay for a wireless modem and service provisioning CZK 1.00 only. If the customer orders any of the offered Novera DSL service through Internet he/she will be given an USB disk as a gift.

The increase in transmission rate applies to the current customers as well

During this April and May there will be increased in transmission rates of the Novera DSL service to the current customers as well. The prices will remain unchanged.

Novera DSL is an advantageous Internet connectivity addressed primarily to SME‘s. Thanks to the ADSL technology such customers may use Internet access with the transmission rate in terms of thousands of kbit/s which is many times faster than a dial-up connection.
